YB Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and Kampung Sampun residents

Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and his political nemesis Fadillah Yusuf

by Sebanaku Sarawak

ASAJAYA: Today was a very embarrassing day for the Asajaya assemblyman Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

He had to delay his arrival for more than 1 hour at a function in Kampung Sampun as many villagers were shunning the Smart Information Programme (Program Info Bestari) which was supposed to start at 10:00am.

While in other villages he would be welcomed as a 'king' but not this time.

Another re-visit to the PBB Batu Kawa Branch controversy

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: A copy of this letter was given to the master mind of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Batu Kawa branch controversy.

When he was later approached by the Hashim Yap group, he pretended to support the group by accusing a state assemblyman, who later turned out to be his cohort, for causing the mess in the PBB branch.

But without the knowledge of the Hashim Yap group, he had used the PBB HQ to stop an effort to nullify the branch youth meeting.

Datuk Amar Abang Johari will be the Chief Minister?

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: When local newspapers published the news on the appoinment of Dayang Madinah Tun Abang Haji Openg as a senator, many were wondering why the Pesaka wing of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) didn't object.

The reason being Dayang Madinah Tun Abang Haji Openg who is from the Bumiputera wing was taking the senatorship quota for the Pesaka wing.
She is to replace Dato Sri Empiang Jabu whose term expires on July 11 after serving for two terms.

Kayveas' PPP is racing against the time

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Sometime in January this year, Datuk M. Kayveas' face was beaming with confidence when he officiating the party's membership drive campaign at Rajah Court.

At that time, he was confident that he would not fail in his 'already-lost-count' latest attempt to officially set up a PPP branch in the Land of Hornbill.

The local leaders were whispering magic numbers to his ears before the day he flew to Kuching to officiate the launching.

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING:Kampung Matang Lot residents are at loss on how they could get the attention from their representatives to seriously look into their predicaments.

It has been more than 5 years they have requested for a concrete bridge to replace an old wooden bridge.

They admitted that the government did respond to their request but some how the implementation was being questioned.

Voon Lee Shan Just Stating The Fact

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Salam 1Malaysia ...

"Pick any culture of the indigenous people and fully embrace it. And if you can't be one of us, then just be happy with what you are now!"

Basically this is what Malaysian Bumiputera Rights Movement (Perkasa) is telling d non-Bumiputera over the native status issue which was raised by the Batu Lintang assemblyman Voon Lee Shan on last Friday in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN).

KEPALA TIDAK ADA OTAK !!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Kepala tidak ada otak - that is how the Pending assemblywoman Voilet Yong Wui Wui described the Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) last week.

She was narrating a story of a factory owner who had to pay an exorbitant fee, which was 200% more than the original amount, to DBKU and Trieneken for what she initially thought as rubbish collection fees.

She was puzzling because the rubbish collection fees were supposed to be taken care by the assessment rate paid by industrial operators.

WHY SARAWAKIANS ARE SO QUIET OVER THE OIL ISSUE???

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: When the oil field issue was first highlighted by the former premier Tun Mahathir Mohamad, it had caused a stir in Semenanjung.

This had forced his successor Tun Abdullah Badawi to come out clean to admit that he did surrender the right over two oil fields worth RM320 billion to Brunei in exchange of Limbang.

After that there were exchanged of angry words from both the government and oppositions in Semenanjung as the latter was not happy being kept in the dark over the whole issue.

PAS NOT HAPPY WITH ADENAN

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Special Advisor to the Chief Minister's Department Datuk Amar Adenan Satem might be telling the truth when he told Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Sarawak and Democraric Action Party (DAP) not to be too ambitious after winning the Sibu parliamentary election.

As he pointed out to the new Sibu MP Wong Ho Leng, DAP only won one seat and despite of what they said about their victory, BN is still THE government - and Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud is still the Chief Minister.

Ho Leng seemed to be receptive to this argument although he did make some noises when Adenan was telling him this in the State Legislative Assembly few days ago.

KUCHING: Batu Lintang assemblyman Voon Lee Shan had surprised many Malays and Dayaks assemblymen on last Friday during the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting.

SURAT YB DOMINIQUE KEPADA SPEAKER DUN SARAWAK

by Prof. Dr. x

KUCHING: If the DUN speaker Dato Sri Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar didn't delay in replying the letter, there wouldn't be any commotion as happened that day.

As a matter of fact, it is not Asfia who is to write the letter because he has many lawyers in DUN who could tell him which section to be used to reply to Dominique's letter.

The following is a soft copy of Dominique's letter:

ASFIA vs DOMINIQUE (& JUNAIDI?)

JAMES MASING IS PLAYING WITH FIRE

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Is Dayakism on the rise? Again?

Most of us have seen the days when Dayakism was at its peak with leaders like (to name a few) Dato Sri James Jemut Masing, Tan Sri Dr Leo Moggie, Dato Sri Daniel Tajem, Gabriel Adit and Stanley Ajang Batok were hopping from one long house to another promoting Dayakism.

And some of us might have heard stories of James Masing who declared that he was drinking the blood of the Chinese when he was actually taking a syrup.

The situation was tense at that time with many Dayaks openly showed their support to PBDS which was at the driving seat championing the rights of the Dayaks.

And fast forward to the present days, James Masing has become the president of a young party which is known as Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).

When he thought that he was in total command of the party, few Dayak leaders had decided to turn their back on him and tried to help a Chinese to stage a revolt to snatch the top leadership post in the party from him.

James Masing, who is a veteren fighter, didn't give up and after many rounds of fights, he was finally legally being recognised as the president of the party.

The war is over but not the hatred for being stabbed from behind by the young Chinese who was supported by James Masing's own race.

And now he has made known to every body of this plan to get rid of the very Chinese who has betrayed him.

To do that, he is fanning the fire of Dayakism inside his party so that no Dayaks would revolt against him when he finally decided to name the replacement for the young Chinese YB.

He knows that it is not easy to unroot the young Chinese due to the fact that the latter's family is deeply entrenched in the place where they have been staying for many generations.

There is a strong possibility that the young Chinese man's big family would not give an easy way to James Masing to get rid of him.

It is going to be another nasty fight between two groups of Dayaks who are led by a Dayak and a Chinese.

The Dayakism could be a lethal weapon for James Masing to kill his Chinese opponent but if he is not careful, he might burns his own two hands.

It is easy to stoke anger against another race to achieve one's political interest but whether the strong racial sentiment later can be easily managed, it is another issue.

Hence, it is a very dangerous game being played by James Masing who could tear the fabrics of the multi-racial society in the state.

Hopefully, James Masing knows that he is doing ...

Please Do Not MISTREAT People's Representative !!!

Dominique is seen talking to an unidentified gentleman inside the DUN Building after getting the motions for the sitting while a security personnel closely watching him.

by Asan

KUCHING: He just could not believed it - he was deterred from entering the State Legislative Assembly building in his capacity as a Sarawakian!!!

Two days ago he was barred from attending the current sitting after he was found guity by the Committee of Privilege (COP) for ridiculing the assembly by equating it with a kangaroo court when it made its decision on a report of the committee on Wong Ho Leng (DAP-Bukit Assek) on May 13 last year.

Ng, who is from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) was charged with having said: “This is a kangaroo court. Let’s count the kangaroo. Come hop, hop, hop.

He and his fellow opposition colleague Cheong Chien Jen who is from Democratic Action People (DAP) party were suspended for a year with effect from last Monday.

Today, the security personnel had stopped him from entering the building.

In his first attempt which was around 1000am, he and his five supporters had caused a commotion for about 15 minutes at the main entrance of the building when he said he and his supporters wanted to go to the Public Gallery to watch the proceeding of the sitting.

However, he and his supporters relented after being told by the security personnel to get out from the building.

It is said that the instruction was given by the DUN speaker Dato Sri Mohamad Asfia Awang Nasar to stop Dominique from entering the building after he was barred for 12 months by the augusted assembly.

In his second attempt which was around 0300pm, he came to the building under the pretext of collecting the motions for the sitting.

And again, there was a scuffle between the people's representative and the security personnel who were stationed at the main entrance of the building.

When the commotion had attracted the attention of those at the building, Dominique was heard to say he came to the building in his capacity as a member of the public and he was there to take his motions.

He said the security personnel should not treated him in such a disrespectful manner.

One of the security personnel was heard trying to refute Dominique's claim.

The assemblyman later left the premises after he received the documents which he wanted to get.

He, however, was said to drive to the Gita Police State after making an exit from the State Legislative Assembly building to lodge a police report over the incident.

NASSER IS A RACIAL EXTREMIST !!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Perkasa state chief Abang Nasser Abang Hadari is agreed that the Chinese are ungrateful !!!

And he also agrees the indigenous people have to agree to swallow the calls made by the Barisan Nasional to compromise with the Chinese so that all the plans made by the BN for the Chinese would be successful.

And he also called the government to only give assistance to those who have given their votes to them.

DON'T BE RUDE, MISTER!!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Special Advisor to the Chief Minister Office Datuk Amar Adenan Satem reproached the Bukit Assek state assemblyman Wong Ho Leng for being rude to the SUPP leaders.

He said the Sibu voters didn't vote him for his rude behaviour especially when he insinuated Datuk Wong Soon Koh after he won the Sibu parliamentary by-election.

Ho Leng was reported to have said that his victory to win Sibu as his birthday gift to Soon Koh.

New lease premium with effect from June 01, 2010

by Sebanaku Sarawak
(extracted from Analisa Pilihanraya Kecil Parlimen Sibu by Prof. Dr. X)

SIBU: Effective June 1, 2010, the premium will be less expensive - so said (the Chief Minister Pehin Sri) Abdul Taib. Even lower than being charged in the other states in the country.

Perhaps Abdul Taib made the decision after realizing the opposition is capitalising on the issue to get the support from the constituents.

In the residential category, the lease rate for a terraced house is RM1, 000 per unit; a semi-detached house @ RM3, 000 and a detached house @ RM6,000.

For the commercial category, it is RM60,000 per unit in the city; RM20,000 @ secondary town; and RM10, 000 @ town area.

Meanwhile the rate for the agriculture related land in the city is RM5,000 per acre; suburban @ RM2,500 and country land @ RM200.

Land lease period is 60 years.

BECAUSE OF SEWAGE TANK, SUPP HAS TO PAY DEARLY !!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: Finally Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) has no choice but to eat humble pie by admitting that there are few problems in the Rajang Park which the late MP Datuk Robert Lau Hoi Chew failed to address in the past.

One of the problems is sewage tank which the late MP had ignored despite of the fact that he was the Malaysian Toilet King.

It does not make sense for the late MP to fail to address this issue when Rajang Park was basically his play ground.

KEEP ON DREAMING NARAWI

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: The independant candidate Narawi Haron is hoping that his lady luck would not desert him at the eleventh hour.

This time around he does not want to be embarrased with merely 975 votes which he had in the 1995 general election.

He is hoping the total number of votes he would get in the by-election is five times more than in 1995.

GEORGE CHAN IS LYING TO THE BUMIPUTERA !!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) President Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr. George Chan Hong Nam was lying to all Bumiputera in the state when he claimed that :-

* the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Dato Sri James Jemut Masing was misunderstood of the true situation concerning the Ibans in Sibu when he said the community was extremely not happy with the way SUPP is treating them; and
* the SUPP Sibu Branch leader Datuk Wong Soon Koh has told him that the party is treating other races as it is treating the Chinese.

And what James Masing has not told SUPP is:-
* the Bumiputera, in general, feel that SUPP is no different from DAP – i.e. only interested to look after their own community and no other communities. And Miri is no different from Sibu!!!

As a matter of fact, all the Bumiputera in the state are rejoicing upon learning that James Masing has bluntly told Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) to buck up and stop from sidelining or ignoring his race in Sibu.

Although James Masing is actually highlighting the predicaments experienced by his race, the other races still feel that the Iban leader is also indirectly helping them because they are also being sidelined by the Chinese.

Although the Sibu Malays are seemed to be quiet on the ill-treatment which they have received from SUPP for many decades but it does not mean that they never complained about this.

As a matter of fact, they have been telling their so-called leader Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah about this but sadly instead of trying to convey the messages to the SUPP leaders, he has scolded them for being ridiculous.

It is an open secret among the Sibu Malays ( as well as the Malays in Sarawak), that Bemee is very protective of the SUPP leaders as if he is not a member of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).

Therefore, it is not a surprise that the Sibu Malays are giving a lukewarm response to the efforts to woo them to support the SUPP candidate Robert Lau Hui Yew in the Sibu parliamentary by-election.

To them, it doesn’t matter who will win the election, it would be the same for the Sibu Malays (and the Sibu Ibans, as well).

In view of that many Sibu Bumiputera are reluctant to go back to Sibu to cast their votes.

Only the Chinese voters are keen to go back to choose the winner – not the Bumiputera.

SUPP must be taught a good lesson by the Bumiputera – don’t boycott the by-election but vote for Pakatan Rakyat / Democratic Action Party (DAP).

So only then the party leaders could be made to appreciate the support from the non-Chinese who had been giving their support to them for the sake of the Barisan Nasional in many elections in the past.

Therefore, James Masing might be right when he said this time around, in this by-election, it is not the BN which is being judged by the voters but SUPP.

According to an insider from SUPP, despites of the hu ha by the BN leaders in Sibu, the party is only expected to get about 40 percent votes from the Chinese.

Hence, in order to win the by-election, SUPP is hoping that it would get the remaining from the Bumiputera.

This is the reason that why SUPP has decided to highlight the way DAP has treated the Malays in Semenanjung as a scare tactic for the Bumiputera.

But what they fail to realize is that the strategy fails to work its magic to the Bumiputera in Sibu because the party is no different from DAP.

The only thing that differentiate them is, SUPP is in the BN while DAP is in the PR (which is an illegal coalition).

However, if the Bumiputera want SUPP to respect them, then DAP must win the Sibu by-election.

Period.

When SUPP lost the seat, not only the party will get the message but also the Nangka state assemblyman who has been in the same league with SUPP since the first day he is elected as the YB.

In the nut shell, DAP is a good party to support because it will help to make SUPP and its henchman Bemee to start to listen to them.

VOTE FOR DAP IS A VOTE FOR A CHANGE !!!

THE LEGENDARY SIBU MALAY CONMAN (Part 1 of 2)

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: A con man is indeed in a difficult profession that required a lot of courage and skills.

To the certain extent, a con man is just like an actor who manages to conceal his true feeling when dealing with his victim(s).

A skillfull conman is able to give an extremely convincing presentation resulting in his preys would be willing to do his bidding - be it monetary or non-monetary.

There are many stories on the internet on conmen which could easily google.

One of the websites that has information about the history of conmen is Listverse.com which listed down ten names which it regarded as the most famous con men in recent history.

The names are:-
1. Frank Abagnale [Born: 1948]
2. Charles Ponzi [Born: 1882; Died: 1949]
3. Joseph Weil [Born: 1877; Died: 1975]
4. Victor Lustig [Born: 1890; Died: 1947]
5. George Parker [Born: 1870; Died: 1936]
6. Soapy Smith [Born: 1860; Died: 1898]
7. Eduardo de Valfierno
8. James Hogue [Born: 1959]
9. Robert Hendy-Freegard [Born: 1971]
10. Bernard Cornfeld [Born: 1927; Died: 1995]

May be we could have our own list of con men for our own archives.

At least this could help us to be aware of their modus operandi in tricking their victims.

At the same time, it could help us to have a sense of pride for having our own people who are being 'officially' recognised by the local historians as one of the famous conmen.

Sarawak Boleh !!!

If such list is to exist, there is a very high possibility that a Sibu Malay would make a cut into the list.

May be his name would be among the top three but if would not be suprised if he is to be on the top of the list.

In 1987, after the Ming Court episode, he was given half dozens of timber concessions from the government. All of these timber concessions were earlier belonged to the former Chief Minister Tun Rahman and his cronies but were later frozen by the state government after he had a fall out with his successor Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.

All the timber concessions worth between RM80 million to RM90 million at that time.

He was given a specific instruction to share the concessions with the Sibu Malays.

However, after 23 years he was told to share the timber concessions to help the Sibu Malays, not even one Sibu Malay (who is not related to him or his wife via marriage) is ever being benefitted from the timber concessions.

The man, nevertheless, didn't stop there. He started to feel greedy after seeing big monies flowing towards him.

So, now he started to be pro-active in his con-man work.

He lobbied for a large oil palm plantation area from the state government but he failed to get the state government to agree to his request because he had no experience or expertise in the oil palm plantation bisness.

Then, in 1993, he changed his tactics by telling the state government that he was actually trying to help the Sibu Malays when he requested for the land.

He managed to make the state government to believe that he would share the business pie with the Sibu Malays who are the minority in the China town.

The state government thought that the conman would contract out some of the works in the plantation to the Sibu Malay contractors as well as giving share to some of the Sibu Malays.

However, the man is realy true to his profession as a conman.

He didn't do what he had promised to do. And luckily for him that he didn't go around the Sibu town to get the blessing from the Malays that he would be requesting a piece of land from the state government by using their names.

Or he could expect the Malays to run amok in the Sibu town when they got to know that the conman didn't honour his promise to them.

And later, he sold the company (Austral) which was given the land for the purpose of oil palm plantation for a sum of more than RM100 millions few years later.

And again, he didn't share the money with the Sibu Malays despite of the fact that when he applied for the land, he had told the state government that he would use it to assist the Sibu Malays.

(... to be continued ... )

MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: ""Even if the system is corrupted, don't fight it - be part of it in order to survive!!!

This is what most people would say when being asked why they don't fight corruption.

No wonder Malaysia is known as a wonderful country that has many abnormal occurrences - at least to the eyes of the foreigners - which are actually very normal to the Malaysian.

For example, in the case of oil royalty.

When the opposition won Terengganu years ago, the Barisan Nasional government decided to convert the oil royalty to compassionate fund ('wang ehsan').

By doing this, the state government, which was under PAS, had no access to the 'oil royalty' because it is no longer an oil royalty but 'wang ehsan'!

It was extremely ridiculous for the BN government to do that because under the law, regardless of which party is elected by the rakyat to be a state government, the federal government (which is under the BN) has no right over the money.

But since this is Malaysia, so it is MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!

Virtually anything which is impossible in other countries, are possible in the Boleh-land.

Another good example is on a case involving one ministry in Putra Jaya.

For easy reference, let's name the minister as BODOH Minister and his ministry as the BODOH Ministry.

A company had completed a RM6 million project awarded by the BODOH Ministry in 2005 but until now the final account is yet closed.

The puzzling part is the BODOH Ministry has admitted that there is nothing wrong with the project itself but still it could not initiate the process to close the account.

And when asked to do so, the BODOH Ministry will point its finger to the Project Management Consultant (PMC) saying it should be initiated by the PMC.

And when PMC is asked to close the book, it will say it is the responsibility of the BODOH Ministry - not its responsibility.

It is said that the company had to spend quite a big sum for the expenses to travel to Kuala Lumpur to seek explanations on why the BODOH Ministry and PMC could not close the book.

Because of them dragging their feet on the matter, the company has to endure hardship as a result of unable to pay its sub-contractors.

The company needs the book to be closed in order for it get the retention sum to pay all of its debts.

The BODOH Minister, who happens to be one of the most active BN campaigners in Sibu, is fully aware of this case because the company has written dozens of letters to him.

And this BODOH Minister likes to go around the state making promises on many projects.

But how is he going to be trusted when his BODOH Ministry even failed to honour a RM6million project???

When a contractor is at fault, his BODOH Ministry would quick to blacklist the contractor by arguing that the contractor concerned has deprived the 'end users' from having a conducive environment to do their errands.

But when the BODOH Minister and his BODOH Ministry are at fault, they will pretend as if nothing has happened!!!

Why the BODOH Minister and his BODOH Ministry are treating contractors like dogs when the latter is at fault???

But when they themselves are at fault, why they still want the contractors to treat them like demi-gods???!!!

In view of this, how can we trust the Barisan Nasional government to honour its promise in the Sibu parliamentary by-election when there are many likes of the BODOH Minister in the BN government?

May be the voters should not waste their precious votes on the BN government because one thing for sure what ever promises given the BN government (especially the BODOH Minister) during the campaign are not going to be honoured.

Therefore, the best thing to do is to vote for DAP because at least all know that the party will not honour its promises!

DON'T DEVELOP SIBU IF THE VOTERS SUPPORT DAP/PR

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Malaysian Bumiputera Rights Movement (Perkasa) is beginning to show its true colour.

The Perkasa boss in Sarawak Abang Abdul Nasser Abang Hadari has made a call to the Barisan Nasional not to give priority to Sibu should the BN lost in the Sibu by-election.

He said it is better for the BN government to channel the money meant for the development in Sibu to other areas such as Mukah or Bintulu.

NARAWI IS FISHING FOR FISH - NOT VOTES!!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: The by-election independent candidate Narawi Haron is going to do something different in his campaign strategy.

He is going to go fishing for fish!!!

Yes, you read it correctly. He is to look out for fish - not votes.

Gawai Carnival Redeems

by Sebanaku Sarawak

BAU: Strong sentiment on existing structures including a "Baruk", which is a Bidayuh traditional round head house, at the Redeems Community Center is expected to be THE pulling factor to get the crowd for the coming 5th Gawai Carnival Redeems (June 25th - 27) this year.

If the last year's figure is at 10,000, then it is estimated that the crowd would be more than that this year.

This year, the Research and Development Movement of Singai Sarawak Association (Redeems) deliberately decided to have the carnival to be held at the center as the association wants the crowd, especially the Bidayuhs, to look at the center for the last time before it is to be demolished.

The Redeems president Datuk Peter Nansian said the demolition works would start sometime in June this year and the new center, which - among others - will have squash courts and a multipurpose hall that can accommodate more than 100 tables at one time, will be ready for the next year's Gawai celebration.

Nansian is determined to get the center to be completed on schedule as he hopes that the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak would agree to grace the official opening of the celebration.

For this year carnival, the VVIP is Najib's deputy Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yasin who will officiate the carnival on June 26th at 8:00pm.

There are many activities to be held during the carnival such as Kumang Gawai, cultural show (which is going to be performed by 'real' Bidayuh lasses) and sporting events.

The visitors are welcomed to visit the longhouse in the center to enjoy the hospitality of the residents.

For more informationon Redeems and the carnival, please visit the association's website at http://www.redeems.my.

SIBU: It does not matter who wins the Sibu parliamentary by-election - be it SUPP or DAP, the results would be the same, i.e. the Bumiputera would continue to be sidelined.

This is what most of the Bumiputera in Sibu believe.

It has happened for so many years and regardless of what are being said by the SUPP and DAP leaders during the campaign, nothing would happen after by-election is over.

BEMEE & BIBIR AJAIBNYA

by Sebanaku Sarawak

Sekian.)

BEMEE & HIS MAGIC LIPS

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Year in year out, the Nangka state assemblyman Datuk Awang Bemee Ali Basah has never failed to impress his constituents.

They are realy realy realy impressed with his skillful lips which have never failed to work wonders in the constituency.

And it is not a surprise at all if there are state assemblymen who are envied of Bemee and his skills in using his lips.

Many years ago, there was a wellknown man who thought that he had perfected his skills in using his lips but too bad that he was not as good as he thought.

The voters kicked him out from the office after he ended his first term to serve as the most powerful man in the world.

May be he should have sought for Bemee's advice and learnt from the state assemblyman on how to do it.

In fact many politicians would hope that they are blessed with such gift.

Many of them would agree that even a full 100 percent commitment would not guarantee them a secured victory in their next election.

And many of them would also agree that even a full 100 percent of honoring promises would not guarantee them a safe path to an election victory.

Just ask any people's representative, and most of them will agree with the two earlier statements.

Therefore, many politicians in the state are wondering how did he manage to do it.

Like Bemee, they also kiss the asses of the like of Datuk Patinggi Alfred Jabu Numpang, Datuk Seri Asfia Awang Nasar and Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan but still they don't feel secured.

Some of them know that they are better ass kisser than Bemee but why Bemee is still around as if he is anointed by God to be the Nangka state assemblyman.

They know that Bemee is a worse liar than them.

While they only honour 3 out of 10 promises which they gave to their constituents, Bemee only honours 1 out of 20 promises given to the Nangka constituents.

But still Bemee still getting favour from those in power.

Every body in PBB knows that in every election, the likes of Asfia and Tengah will go around in the Nangka constituency to meet the Malay/Bumiputera voters begging them to vote for Bemee.

The one million ringgit question is why the hell is PBB still want to keep a person like him when the top leaders have to be on their knees begging and pleading the voters not to turn their back on Bemee in every election?

What is so special about Bemee that he is untouchable???

Here is the answer ...

He goes extra miles with his lips.

He also kisses the asses of SUPP leaders in Sibu.

Therefore, it is very difficult for PBB leaders to get rid of him when the SUPP leaders are 'protective' of Bemee.

This is the reason why the magic of his lips is more powerful than the other state assemblymen.

He can give as many promises he likes to his constituents without having to worry at all what will happen to him if he fails to honour them because he is THE man who the Sibu SUPP leaders want to be in the Sibu parliamentary constituency.

Rain or shine, Bemee is The man, says SUPP.

So, in the nutshell, no doubt that the Nangka constituency is represented by a PBB man, but the reality is he is a SUPP man.

Put his track record as the Nangka state assemblyman on the table for all to see ... and the record will clearly show that Bemee has the most powerful magic lips in Sarawak.

OBYU HOLDINGS SDN BHD & PENGKHIANATAN

by Sebanaku Sarawak

OBYU HOLDINGS SDN BHD & THE ACT OF BETRAYAL

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: The Perkasa state chief Abang Abdul Nasser Abang Hadari said he is impressed with the loyalty given by the indigenous people to the Barisan Nasional in the previous state election.

And he said although there are cases of problems faced by the Bumiputera which are unattended by the government (read as SUPP-led local government in Sibu), all of these problems are merely being overlooked.

Not more and not less - according to Nasser.

KIT SIANG, IT IS A JOKE!!!

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang is making a joke when he said Wong Ho Leng needs a political miracle to win the Sibu parliamentary by-election.

It is not DAP that needs the miracle but it is SUPP.

Thus, to say that chances of DAP to win the seat is at 40% is wrong.

THE BEST ASS KISSER WILL WIN SIBU

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: The Sibu parliamentary by-election turns out to be a three corner fight instead of four as some would believe it would happen.

An independent candidate Hamka Kassim who was earlier reported to contest as an independent candidate, has chickened out and did not turn up at the nomination centre to submit his nomination form.

Thus, the by-election would see the Sarawak DAP boss Wong Hong Leng to fight at two fronts - i.e. against the SUPP candidate Robert Lau Hui Yew and another independent candidate Narawi Haron.

PERKASA & Nasser & Narawi

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Not many know that Perkasa, which is despised by many, especially non-Malays, is already recruiting members in the Land of Hornbill.

Their number one leader here is Abang Abdul Nasser Abang Hadari, who is also the president of Sarawak branch of Malaysia Malay Contractors Association (PKMM).

It is quite puzzling to hear that Nasser is condemning Narawi Haron, who is the independent candidate in the Sibu parliamentary by-election, for highlighting the problems plagued the Malays / Bumiputera as a result of being neglected by Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP).

"Merintis halatuju Pemuda Melayu Sarawak"

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: It would be interesting to see which direction the Sarawak Malays would go after the forum.

Or it will continue to be where it is now - “neither here nor there”.

It is to be held on May 08, 2010 at Sarawak Malay National Association (PKMS) Hall at Jalan Haji Taha at 01pm.

POT HOLES ON ROADS IN SIBU

by Sebanaku Sarawak

Sibu: Other candidates in the Sibu parliamentary by-election are talking about big issues such as money politics, corruptions, democracy, transparency and change of the country's top leadership but the independent candidate Narawi Haron, 60, has another issue that could make political pundits to scratch their heads.

He said today he wants to highlight pot holes on roads in Sibu as one of the issues which he would use to influence the voters to cast their votes to him.

The former soldier stressed that the issue is important to the constituents and the government seems to be not interested to solve the problems.

PBB the Political Opportunist

By Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: Barely 48 hours after Sarawak National Party (SNAP) deputy president Ting Ling Kiew declared that the decision to join Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Sarawak as invalid, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) wants to take advantage of the crisis in the party.

Its secretary general Dr. Stephen Rundi Utom today urged Ting and his supporters to join any state Barisan Nasional (BN) component party!!!

He challenged them to do so because to him that is the only way to show Ting and his supporters are subscribing to the BN spirit.

PPP sends letter to join the state BN

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Rumour mills are working overtime now as it is said that People's Progressive Party (PPP) has submitted a letter to the state BN chairman Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud requesting for an admission into the ruling coalition.

It is also said that in the letter, the party has expressed its desire to help the state BN in the Sibu election.

It is most likely that Taib will just keep quiet about the letter as if he never saw the letter - as he did in the past whenever he received letters from the party.

Practically, he is a nobody in politics.

by Sebanaku Sarawak

SIBU: Practically, he is a nobody in politics.

However, it seems that the Nangka state assemblyman Datuk Awang Bemee Ali Basah just could not ignore this poor man.

Not so much on Narawi Haron is to make a miracle in the coming Sibu by-election but because the poor man is throwing mud towards Bemee.
