KUCHING: ""Even if the system is corrupted, don't fight it - be part of it in order to survive!!!

This is what most people would say when being asked why they don't fight corruption.

No wonder Malaysia is known as a wonderful country that has many abnormal occurrences - at least to the eyes of the foreigners - which are actually very normal to the Malaysian.

Larry Sng and his future

by JJ

KUCHING: The future of the ‘former’ president of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) is a ‘popular’ subject among many political pundits in the state.

Their strong interest in the former president is understandable – the state election is just around the corner and to-date there he is still party-less with not even one multi-racial based party in the State Barisan Nasional (BN) is interested in him.

As it is now, the current PRS president Dato Sri James Jemut Masing is certainly the happiest among the political adversaries of the ‘former’ president.

He is glad that no political parties in the State Barisan Nasional (BN) are to open their doors to his former rival in PRS.

NEWS FLASH – Awang Tengah was being 'santau-ed'(?)

There are rumours that Dato Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan had fallen ill on last Friday due to ‘santau’ which is a kind of black magic that is said still being practiced by a handful of practitioners in the Malay community.

Because of this, he could not attend any private or public function for three days – including the one in Sadong Jaya which he had to delegate his duty to his assistant minister Mohd Naroden Majais.

He had to be given injections by his doctor to help him to reduce his unusually high body temperature.

If this is true, that it is not a surprised to hear that a Mufti had called for a law to govern the practice of black magic in the country.

Also visit for more information about santau.

Fadillah the ungrateful politician who tries to be a hero

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Chief YB Fadillah Yusuf thought that he would certainly hit the political jackpot when he decided to tackle the Penan rape issue head on.

He thought that he could use the rape issue to elevate his image among the party members as well as leaders.

He also thought that he could silent the oppositions by declaring to all that the party youth wing would send its own fact-finding team to Ulu Baram to look out for the rape victims and subsequently lodge a police report after the team had found one.

NEWS FLASH - Norliah as Temenggong

An elder sister to the Tanjung Manis Member of Parliament Datuk Norah Tun Rahman, Norliah Tun Rahman, is to be appointed as a Temenggong for the Malay / Melanau community in the Mukah Division.

Her name is being considered for the post after she rejected an overture by the Semop assemblyman Dato Sri Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar, who is also the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker, to be the Barisan Nasional / Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) candidate in  the Semop constituency in the next state election.

It was on the plan to take out Sarawak from the federation of Malaysia.

Asfia and his grandiose plan (Part 2 of 2)

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister YB Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah is a popular figure among the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) youth members who is regarded as a dynamic leader.

In fact many of the party youth members adore him and would have no hesitation at all to vote him for the PBB Youth Chief post if he was allowed by the party president Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud to contest against the incumbent YB Fadillah Yusuf who is the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innvoation.

Many youth leaders just could not forget the PBB Jelajah Sarawak which was held in 2005 when YB Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah was the deputy Youth Chief.

Politics Primary 1 Lesson for Pemuda PBB Information Chief

by Sebanaku Sarawak

KUCHING: "Why are there no leader from the state Barisan Nasional party come forward to defend their paramount leader from being severely criticised and condemned in the cyber world due to the Canada issue?"

This was the question posed by the young and ambitious politician YB Larry Sng Wei Shien when he was having a conversation with a senior minister at the latter's house recently.

He just could not fathom this silence or inaction when the oppositions are having a good time hitting the BN Chairman Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud without any restrains.
