KUCHING: PBB deputy president Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg had a hard time answering questions from reporters on the claim made by a party vice-president Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman recently.
Although Daud had clarified in a news portal that his statement that certain BN assemblymen had lied to the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak during an interview session recently in Miri was wrongly interpreted by the printed media, it did not stop the printed media from attempting to get comments from Abang Johari yesterday at Kampung Samariang Baru here.
“Ask Daud who was lying … how would I know … it is Daud who knows,” he told the press after visiting a jetty and building project site yesterday.
However, he stressed that at this stage it was not an issue whether or not the party would take any action because there was no proof.
“We must speak the truth … if lying, it means there’s no dignity. However I do not know who were lying … or whether the statement (by Daud) is true or not … I don’t know,” he said.
Last Monday, Daud was reported to have claimed that certain Barisan Nasional (BN) assemblymen were red-faced when they tried to lie to Najib by overrating their winning chances in the next state election.
“There were some who tried to self-boost themselves by overrating their winning chances, and at that juncture the PM pointed out directly at them that they were not truthful,” he told reporters after chairing the state-level Prophet Muhammad’s birthday celebration meeting at the Samarahan Resident’s Office in Samarahan.
Daud, however, did not reveal the names of the assemblymen who overrated their winning chances, but said it would not be a surprise if they were excluded from the BN lineup in the next state polls.
Abang Johari was also asked whether the party would ask Daud to explain his statement.
On this, he said: “It is between Daud and the party leadership.”
He added that since the interview with Najib was made in groups, he could not confirm whether the claim was true.
“We met PM in groups … so, how would I know who was lying … those who were in my group were Daud, (Sharifah) Hasidah (Sayeed Aman Ghazali), Datuk Sri (Mohamad) Ali (Mahmud), Tan Joo Phui and (Abdul) Karim (Rahman) Hamzah.
“Was he referring to those in the group or not … I don’t know… ask Daud … he knows,” he said. - Borneo Post
I think YB Datuk Daud is indeed telling the truth but not the whole truth because he did not swear to god. Whatever it is someone have lied. Who lied is in material now, because we know bull shitting is part and parcel of any politician. So why bother.
ReplyDeleteWhat we want is a politician that insist on speaking the truth as to him lying means no dignity. Long leave Abg Jo!!!
YB Datuk Abang Johari, we in N8 Satok Love You! Happy Valentine Day....
ReplyDeleteNo need to politicize the statement made by YB Daud as his statement is based on hearsay and mere allegation. But wise man always "DONT JUMP TO THE CONCLUSION UNTIL YOU KNOW WHERE IS THE CORRECT POINT".

2) Menteri Senior dalam kabinet Taib
3) Tested selama 6 penggal, belum tumbang!
Soalan: Terdesak sangatkah Abg Jo Satok untuk menagih simpati dari DS Najib, sedangkan masih ramai warga Satok menyukainya? Perlukah dia berbohong sedangkan trek rekodnya baik?
Jawapan: Abg Jo Satok tak mungkin berbohong!
Watak Heroin - pelakon utama wanita:
Hasidah Sama Riang (happy-happy)

Watak : Pemandu Handalan (formula F1)
1) Roland the Sagah driver Formula 1, pelumba handalan
2) Rakyat angkat tangan tanda "selamat datang" dia buat tak nampak aje, kerana terlalu laju...
ada rakyat kata dia sengaja race pacuan 4 rodanya, kerana takut nanti rakyat tumpang sekaki dalam racing carnya...
macam nae mun anak saya nok mintak Cop KK pakae sijil sekolahnya. Adakah perlu kamek pergi carinya di kampung sebesar-besar gitak ya kah?
Tok adalah dasar Datuk Abg Jo. Kalau kita menyuarakan dengan Ketua Parti, kelek kita di suruhnya SHUT UP or YOU ARE FINISH! Mun macam tok gaya.
DATUK JO DID NOT KNOW WHO WAS TELLING LIES EXCEPT YB DAUD BUT YB DAUD NEVER MADE ANY STATEMENT THAT SAYING HE KNEW WHO WAS LYING. BE REALISTIC ON THIS.
ReplyDeleteIN FACT HE ALSO NOT EVEN KNOW WHO WAS ACTUALLY TELLING THE TRUTH TO PM INCLUDING HIMSELF. WHY????
SIMPLY BECAUSE ALL THE INFORMATION PERTAINING TO HIS CONSTITUENCY (TUPONG) WAS GIVEN/ FED TO HIM BY THOSE FOLLOWERS WHO WERE ON THE THEIR FACE SWORN ALLEGIANCE AND LOYAL TO PBB / BN COMPONENT PARTY BUT YET BEHIND THE SCENE STABBING THEIR OWN LEADERS IN THE NET. THAT WAS WHY YB DAUD "OVERREACTED" BY SAYING THAT SOME YBs WERE OVERRATED ON ANALYZING THEIR WINNING CHANCES IN THE NEXT ELECTION.
IF YB DAUD MAKE A WRONG STATEMENT IN REGARDS TO THE PARTY INTEREST, WE AS PARTY SUPPORTERS SHOULD CORRECT IT BY ANALYZING THE POSITIVE SIDE OF THE STATEMENT... THIS WHAT WE CALLED POLITICAL TRANSFORMATION WHERE A LEADER WILLING TO ACCEPT THE POSITIVE CRITICISM MADE BY THEIR FELLOW COLLEAGUES IN THE PURSUANCE OF PUBLIC CONFIDENCE.
BUT NEVER CROSS IN MY MIND, YB DAUD SINCERE STATEMENT WAS SWINDLED ALL ROUNDER WITH ALL FINGERS POINTING AT HIM. FOR ME THIS IS NOT THE SPIRIT OF BARISAN NASIONAL.
Apa yg saudara katakan saya 100% setuju.Budaya beginilah yg harus PBB kengkang.Apabila YB bertanya ttg kws,'Ampun YB semua Ok.Sebenarnya berterabur.
Menganggap parti PBB utk golongan tertentu shj.
Disini saya menyeru ahli2 PBB utk menujukkan tauladan yg baik kpd rakyat.Kita telah diberikan tanggungjwb, jadikanlah ia satu Perhormatan & bukan Bebanan . Takut dikatakan nanti 'Ketam Cuba Mengajar Anak Berjalan Lurus'.
Jangan rakyat dijadikan mangsa dlm Percaturan Politik.Tlg fkr2kan
Melayu Jati
ReplyDeleteYB Daud nampak muka orang lain merah, tetapi orang lain tidak dapat nampak muka YB Daud merah kenapa???????
Ini adalah taktik ular kata kan.
His statement ada Udang disebalik batu....
In the first place, why did this Tambi Daud so "sibok" telling about the purported incident in the open. Was it by doing so, he could comment on the others confirming that he was okay all the way. If he has nothing to do, just shut up. Any way, when his house was broken through at one time by stating that the moneys RM400.000 which was believed to be stolen from from his house was Baitul Mal is inherently incredible to believe.
ReplyDeleteOoo, adik kakak.
ReplyDeleteJangan dianok Daud Punduk ya.
Bukan salahnya. Sidak media tok sik faham bahasanya.
Maklumlah kelakar bebelit2. Lagik terok bilanya kak makan kari. Lalu sik faham kelekarnya.
Begitok katanya.
(Translate: Ada wakil rakyat yang terlalu yakin nak menang.Bukan nak bohong.)
Macam yalah kata Daud Punduk.
slm semua.utk perhatian tuan ,walaupun daud ya t.... tapi nya lah yg membela nasib org melayu d kawasan tupong ,bukan setakat melayu sahaja ,malah bangsa lain pun di tolong nya juak.org luar dari kawasan tupong kan nya tauk apa perkembangan tupong ya .lamak2 tuk daud ya lah ,membantu kmk org dpt geran tanah, jln raya ,system parit,sekolah2 ,surau2.sekarang kita lihat masjid gita yg begitu aktif mengadakan progrem ceramah, malah pemduduk kawasan luar sangup solat di sia ,semata2 hendak mendenga ceramah .pikir2 kan lah
Cuma pande nulung adik beradik dgn saudara mara nya ajak. Bagus ngambik orang luar sak sik ada adik beradik ngan saudara maranya ngaco ato gago jadi YB no. 2 ato 3 ato 4.....
ReplyDeleteSalute to YB Daud, since he was brave enough to tell the truth about most of the YBs. If the words come from me or any bloke on the street, nobody will care.
ReplyDeleteLet the respective YB do their homework and work for the rakyat who have voted for them..
bang jo..... apa lagi nak di bulak ko ya.... mcm2 proposal keluar pasal nak membangunkan sarawak.... tapi ANCORRRR....ko madah sg bintangor jadi vanice.... hahaha... jadi tempat buang uras..... housing skim iboh agik... mcm2 bulak ko... mcm singapore lah, australia lah, apalagi negeri nok pegi ko melancong ya... last2 mcm kandang kuda juak design pilih ko.....UDAH AGIK BAH BULAK YA..... DAH 6 TERM JO...
ReplyDeleteJanji abg jo: Tanah kpg Kudei Baru dah di sukat, Sg Bintangor dah kacak, Sg Bedil dlm proses, Sg Lazim dlm proses, surau kpg Kudei Lama dah siap, surau kudei Baru dlm perancangan, Pasar Satok Baru dlm proses, masjid patingan dah siap, surau-surau lain dah di naik taraf infranya..lorong-lorong kwsn kampong di beri nombor, banyak rumah mesra rakyat dibina, 2 padang FUTSAL, Takraw, netball d pdg SLPAS dah siap, perparitan dan lorong banyak telah dibuat...Jalan Semariang dan 4lane.....abg jo telah kotakan janjinya.... walk the talk...
ReplyDeleteYes, Abg Jo walks the talk but is this the extent of his purported contricutions to the Malays in Kuching at best he could do. For the last six (6) terms as a wakil Rakyat, these are the plausible results that he only think of in order to improve and uplift the plight/status of the Malays. Any dick Tom and Harry could do or even better if given the chance. We shoud look at another angle in the over all scnerio/ ituation exists in Sarawak. The Dayaks have NCR lands to look up in the joint-venture undertakings in order to sustain economially in years to come. As to the Malays we have nothing except those lands where their houses situates. The Government should have foreseen the availiblity of developments to develope their lands along the rivers into commercial buildings so that they could hold later whatever equities in the properties beside building their own houses when they are required to move from their present kampongs. They are not thinking about this if possible they require them to move away and paid by mearge and inadequate compensations. The poorer malays will forever remind as such. The building of food stalls in Gita were coherent but they have to pay extorbitant rental every month. Just look at Kuching .......
ReplyDeleteoh pemuda satok, sori lah bos kita orang sik berani komen.....gine nak jadi Pengerusi BN Sarawakm mun sik berani merik yang benar.

My respected friends,
ReplyDeleteListen to what I gonna say. With your voice and your votes, you can make it clear that in this moment, in this upcoming election, there are something happening in our beloved State of Sarawak. There are something happen when Sarawakians who are YOUNG in AGE AND SPIRIT, who never participated in the politic before turn out in number we had never seen because they know in their heart, that this time must be different, regardless whether they are rich or poor, black or white, Malays, Iban, Bidayuh, Chinese and Indians, we are ready to take this STATE FUNDAMENTALLY NEW DIRECTION. That is what happening in Sarawak right now, change is what happening in Sarawak, my friends.
We mobilise OUR VOICE to CHALLENGE the money and influence that stood in our way and challenge ourselves to reach for something better. There is NO PROBLEM WE CANNOT SOLVE. There is NO DESTINY THAT WE CANNOT FULFIL. We gonna tell those giant that while we sit on the table it does not mean we need to buy every chair. NOT NOW NOT THIS TIME. WE CAN DO THIS WITH OUR NEW MAJORITY...
It is not just about what I WILL DO AS A VOTER but YOU AND THOSE WHO LOVE THIS STATE. The people of Sarawak can change it, that this UPCOMING ELECTION is all about. We know the battle ahead will be longer THAN WHAT WE HAD EVER EXPECTED.
But always remember that no matter what OBSTACLE STAND IN OUR WAYS, nothing could withstand the POWER OF MILLIONS OF VOICES CALLING FOR CHANGE. We have been told for we are not to do this by a course of SINGLE VOICE. It would only grow louder more decently. A week, a month to come. We have BEEN warned from offering the people of this state FALSE HOPES. But in the history of Sarawak, there is NOTHING FALSE ABOUT HOPE.
For when we have faced down impossible odds, we have been told we are not ready or we should not try or that we can. Generation of the young have responded with a simple creek sums UP THE SPIRITS OF THE PEOPLE.
As we learnt THE HOPE OF A LITTLE GIRL who goes to public school is THE SAME AS THE DREAM OF A LITTLE BOY who learn from the sketches on the mud and broken wall. We will remember that there is something happening in Sarawak. THAT WE ARE NOT AS DIVIDED AS OUR POLITIC SUGGEST. That WE are ONE PEOPLE we are ONE NATION ONE SARAWAK.. and we WILL BEGIN the next great chapter in the history of Sarawak from coast to coast, from sea to sea,..... CHANGE IS WHAT HAPPENING TO SARAWAK..
A person who think so much for the SAKE OF HIS PEOPLE is a A GREAT THINKER AND A GREAT LEADER. Never Stop Thinking of the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE...
ReplyDeleteA leader who thinks for the worthinesses of his people is a leader of the people. A leader who stop thinking for his people will make himself blind in belief. A believe that his position as a leader is by the effort made by himself alone NOT by the support made by the people.
THINKING FOR THE PEOPLE IS THE BEDROCK OF THE LEADERSHIP.. TLG FIKIR2KAN IS A STRONG WORDS THAT CHANGES THE WAY WE THINK OF OUR FATE AND THE PATH OF OUR GREAT FUTURE...
Abg Jo kenak hati2.Kol 5pm tadik,Pkr dah berjalan menghantar suratkabar dari rumah ke rumah
ReplyDeleteAbg jo, udah gik ngulur kail ya. kecoh tupong dan samariang kinek tok. orang dilot ngaco daud dan sidah. sintak jak tali kail ya.
ReplyDeleteWe know YB Daud past betrayal with Abg Jo during election Abg Jo vs. Effendi Narwawi. YB Daud left Abg Jo and supported Effendi. When Effendi lost and Abg Jo wins, it was a big blow for Daud. Problem arises when Daud went bankrupt and his property was almost taken away by bank.
ReplyDeleteWhat did Daud do? He went abang Jo for help. That time also he ask for Abg Jo forgiveness.
Abg Jo did help but he will never again trust YB Daud for his previous betrayal.
