DUN Sitting (Day Two): Nelson querying about road connecting Ba' Kelalan and Bario

The road from Lawas to Ba' Kelalan is in progress at the moment and I would like to know whether there is any plan to build road connecting Ba' Kelalan and Bario?

Minister of Infrastructure Development and Communication Dato Sri Michael Manyin Jawong:-
For the information of Ahli Yang Berhormat Ba' Kelalan, there is no proposal to build a road from Ba' Kelalan to Bario. However, Bario will be connected with the following proposed road projects:-


i. Jalan Long Lama / Long Laput / Long Miri / Long Pilah / Long Nikan / Long Kesih / Long Akah with a length of 47 km.

ii. Jalan Long Akah / Long Banga with a length of 40 km.

iii. Jalan Bario / Pa' Dalih / Long Banga with a length of 67 km.
