"If everything is alright, I mean if there is no dispute among the landowners, the process can be very fast. In fact the perimeter survey can be done very quickly," he said.
Earlier, in his reply to the original questions from Alexander, Adenan told the august House that under the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP) and to date, the federal government had approved a total allocation of RM60 million for the state to conduct the perimeter survey within this year and next year.

"Up to now, 73 areas with a total size of 48,692 hectares have been surveyed throughout the state and for the information of the honourable member for Ngemah, there are two areas that have been approved for perimeter survey in Ngemah constituency.

"The two areas are Sebubong area in Kanowit covering an area of 54 hectares and Lot 276 Block 11 Lukut Land District involving a total size of 350 hectares. Lot 276 Block 11 Lukut Land District had been gazetted as a Bumiputera communall and reserve via a gazette notice No. Swk. L.N. 44 dated April 7, 2011," he explained.

However, he said, the Sebubong area will only be gazetted after disputes among the claimants have been resolved.
