NEWS FLASH - Santubong folks question the rationale of giving land to Zalpoint

The Santubong folks were using the land for agriculture since 1940 before they were approached by the Land and Survey Department on a plan to acquire the land for development purposes.

The department told them that they would be compensated.

And later they got to know that the land was given to a company by the name of Zalpoint which subsequently mortgaged it for a cool RM40million to RM60 million a year later.
