SAH!   Datuk Seri Abu Bekir Taib akan menjadi calon untuk pilihanraya dewan undangan negeri bagi kerusi Sadong Jaya. Lebih 200 penduduk Sadong Jaya telah menghantar memorendum menyatakan permintaan serta sokongan mereka agar Datuk Seri Abu Bekir Taib setuju untuk menjadi calon seterusnya wakil rakyat mereka.

Miri Marriot 'Confidential'? (Part 1)

MIRI: A meeting had taken placed at the Miri Marriot Resort & Spa on last Sunday that lasted for about three hours from 2:00pm till 5:00pm.

Those who were at the meeting were Youth and Sports Minister Dato Ahmad Shabery Chik, a PBB youth leader, a Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, a Helang Putih silat master and Bakri Jeman (who is a brother of the Jawatankuasa Penaja UMNO Negeri Sarawak (JPUNS) chairman Affendi Jeman).

The Political Secretary to the Prime Minister Datuk Shafie Abdullah also attended the meeting but he didn't stay for the full session of the meeting because he had to attend other matters. Nevertheless, he re-joined the meeting from time to time after completing his other errands.

N7 Samariang: CM still likes me, says Hasidah

KUCHING: Some Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) members of Samariang branch are wondering whether the current assemblywoman YB Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali is to be retained to defend the seat.

Although YB Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali has been going around to convince her constituents that she would defend the seat for the second term, some are not convinced.

Her self-appointed information chief Ahmad Mansor has gone to great length to convince the party members that the party president Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud still wants YB Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali to be the people's representative for the Samariang constituency.

However, it seems that all of her efforts have failed to produce the desired result.

KUCHING, Februari 05, 2010: Ketua Angkatan Muda Keadilan Rakyat Negeri Ahmad Nazib Johari mencabar Ketua Pemuda Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Datuk Fadilah Yusof untuk berdebat secara terbuka.

Menurut beliau, perdebatan itu adalah untuk membahas serta menjelaskan isu-isu berbangkit dan berkaitan hala tuju pemuda di negeri ini.

“Sudah lama saya ingin berdebat dengan beliau tetapi sehingga kini belum ada maklum balas daripadanya,” ujarnya ketika ditemui Utusan Borneo Semasa lawatannya di sini semalam.

MIRI: PBB Youth, together with members from PBB Miri, contributed 40 bags of rice, sugar, coffee, noodles, biscuits and painkillers to flood victims sheltering at the Batu Niah community hall and SMK Suai during the weekend.

The group, led by PBB Youth exco committee member Ripin Lamat, visited flood victims in Beneku before going over to Batu Niah and SMK Suai.

"This is part of our efforts to help ease the sufferings of the flood victims," said Ripin, who is also a political secretary to the Chief Mibnister.

A shocking revelation in the Spy Leman article "PEMIMPIN PBB CEDERA, BILA PERSATUAN SILAT BERLAGAK GANGSTER" : "Hj Haneef, ketua seni silat helang putih di Kuching. beliau sanggup menerima bayaran dari Mohd Yusnar Mentali dan mengupah 3 orang anak didik untuk memukul seorang pemimpin PBB."

Mohd Yusnar Mentali is a former Exco member of PBB Youth while the victim is said to be a current Exco member of PBB Youth, Radin Kadri Radin Budiman.

Both of them are from Sibu.

There are at least three issues here.

Firstly, if it is true that Haji Haneef received payment to carry out physical threat, then it is not only a shocking revelation but also a sad one.

KUCHING: PKR Ali Hussein has won many hearts and minds of Taman Sourabaya Indah PBB sub-branch youth members when he made a surprise visit to a house of the  sub-branch youth secretary recently to grieve with the latter's family over the demise of a senior member of the family.

As a matter of fact, his appearance had caused a stir, at least among the youth members, because they expected their assemblywoman YB Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali to turn up.

Definitely not Ali Hussein who is rumoured to be the PKR candidate for the Demak Laut constituency in the coming state election.

Setelah lebih 5 hari beberapa kawasan dilanda banjir berikutan hujan lebat yang tidak henti-henti. Tapi sampai hari ini belum ada khabar tentang Pemuda PBB 'Emergency Response Team'.

Semasa mengumumkan kewujudan Emergency Response Team, Pemuda PBB bukan main hebat berkokok, dengan mencanangkan di media-media seluruh Sarawak.

Tapi bila waktu rakyat benar-benar dilanda musibah banjir, Suara Pemuda PBB hilang entah dimana.

Mungkin Pemuda PBB dan Emergency Response Team sama-sama telah tenggelam di tengah banjir?

Datuk Safri Abdillah is said has caught the attention of the party for his charisma as a youth leader.

He is a member of the PBB Youth Exco.

His success in making himself as a respectable young businessman is also regarded as a plus factor in making him as another potential candidate to be considered to defend the constituency in the coming state election.

KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Chief YB Fadillah Yusuf thought that he would certainly hit the political jackpot when he decided to tackle the Penan rape issue head on.

He thought that he could use the rape issue to elevate his image among the party members as well as leaders.

He also thought that he could silent the oppositions by declaring to all that the party youth wing would send its own fact-finding team to Ulu Baram to look out for the rape victims and subsequently lodge a police report after the team had found one.

The Youth Chief Fadillah Yusuf has appointed his former media officer Sharein Maloh as the wing's Media Secretary.

He is to handle the wing's affair with the public.

It is not known who is his immediate supervisor but it seems that he is to report directly to either the Youth Chief himself or the Secretary General  PBB Youth Gerald Rentap Jabu or the newly appointed deputy Secretary General PBB Youth Mohd Kamaluddin Mohd Effendi.

May be during the meeting the party wing would fill in the deputy secretary post which has been vacant for months.

In a way it is quite puzzling to see a big party such as PBB to have its youth wing's deputy secretary post vacant for so long.

Menurut didalam laporan berita dalam beberapa akhbar tempatan utama bertarikh hari ini (Jun 28hb), ketua penerangan Pemuda PBB Sarawak, Abdul Aziz Tan Sri Adenan berkata penubuhan unit ini bersesuaian tepat pada masanya kerana blog-blog sedemikian kini tumbuh seperti cendawan dan perlu di awasi.

Penubuhan unit ini adalah cadangan asal dari Ketua Menteri Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud yang juga presiden PBB Sarawak serta saranan dari timbalan PBB Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Abang Haji Openg.
