A young and successful businessman as Sadong Jaya candidate

The name of a young and successful businessman has found its way to be in the list of potential candidates for the Sadong Jaya constituency.

Datuk Safri Abdillah is said has caught the attention of the party for his charisma as a youth leader.

He is a member of the PBB Youth Exco.

His success in making himself as a respectable young businessman is also regarded as a plus factor in making him as another potential candidate to be considered to defend the constituency in the coming state election.

Abang Jemat is to be the next Sadong Jaya YB???

The Sarawak Common Communication Facilities' (Sacofa's) Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Abang Jemat Abang Bujang is among the names being bandied around to defend the Sadong Jaya seat in the coming state election after the incumbent Datuk Wan Abdul Wahab Wan Sanusi has announced his decision to retire from active politics on Nov 05, 2010 during the debate on the Supply Bill 2010 in DUN.

It is said that the Sacofa MD is a hot favourite to be entrusted with the task to defend the seat for BN/PBB.

Sadong Jaya assemblyman an excellent PBB member, says Abang Johari

KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy president Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Abang Openg has described Sadong Jaya assemblyman Datuk Wan Wahab Wan Sanusi as an excellent party member who has contributed a lot to the Barisan Nasional (BN).

As a matter of fact, stressed Abang Johari, the assemblyman had stood steadfastly with BN in a number of political crises in the state.

“He has the intention of withdrawing (as BN candidate for Sadong Jaya) and we (PBB leadership) have been informed,” he told reporters when met at Kampung Kudei Lama yesterday.

He was asked for comments on Wahab’s shocking statement in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) yesterday when he said he would decline to defend his seat in the next state election.
